We are delighted to announce that Stand Against Racism & Inequality (SARI) has joined the Avon and Somerset Victim Service (ASVS) partnership.
ASVS brings together three experienced local charities to provide high-quality support for people affected by crime and antisocial behaviour across Avon and Somerset. Together, the partnership ensures that victims can access compassionate, specialist support to help them recover and move forward.
SARI is an experienced organisation led by and for the communities we serve. Our board, staff and volunteers bring lived experience of hate, enabling us to provide informed, compassionate and culturally responsive support to people affected by all forms of hate crime.
Within the ASVS partnership, SARI provides specialist support to adults experiencing hate crime across Avon and Somerset. We are proud to contribute our expertise and, crucially, the trusted relationships we have built with local minoritised communities. These connections help ensure that people who may otherwise face barriers to accessing support know they have somewhere safe to turn.
We are incredibly proud to be welcomed into the ASVS partnership and look forward to working alongside our partners to ensure every victim receives the support, understanding and advocacy they deserve.
